Complaints

If you have a complaint about the service that we provide, the following steps or avenues for resolution are available to you.

Start Here - Most complaints arise from miscommunication and can usually be fixed quickly. So, please contact your Imperial Finance Broker first and tell them about your concerns.

Next Step - If the issue is not satisfactorily resolved within 5 working days, please contact the Imperial Finance Director of Compliance or put your complaint in writing.

PRIVACY INFORMATION AND AUTHORISATION
  1. Collection of Personal Information Imperial Finance ABN 84 085 518 387 are required to collect, use and disclose your personal information to provide the products and services requested by you or on your behalf. Appointed Agent means the Appointed Agent specified in the "Consent to disclose Personal Information to Imperial Finance" document (provided separately to you) and includes successors, assigns and transferees.
  2. You Need To Provide Accurate And Relevant Information Accurate and complete information will allow Imperial Finance to assist you with the products or services you require.
  3. Disclosure Of Personal Information You agree and consent that Imperial Finance and its Appointed Agent may disclose your personal information to each other. You also agree and consent that Imperial Finance and its Appointed Agent may disclose your personal information to the following types of organisations for the purposes outlined below;
    • Banks, non-banks and other financial institutions o Imperial Finance's related corporations
    • Organisations with whom Imperial finance have alliances and arrangements and any agents used by Imperial Finance and its business partners in administering such an alliance or arrangement and
    • Any person(s) or contractor(s) engaged by imperial Finance
    • For the purpose of carrying out a credit check through Baycorp Advantage.
  4. Purpose For Collecting Personal Information You agree that Imperial Finance and its Appointed Agent may collect, use and disclose your personal information for the following purposes:
    • Processing and tracking your requested services and products.
    • Processing commission payments to Imperial Finance and its Appointed Agent.
    • Marketing and sales promotion so a s to inform you of similar or new products and services that may be of benefit to you in the future.
    • Administrative operations including statistical reports, accounting, record keeping, development and testing of systems and the training of staff and Appointed Agents.
    • Complying with legislative and regulatory requirements.
    • Developing, establishing and administering alliances and other arrangements with other organisations relating to the promotion, administration and use of our respective products and services.
  5. Access All your personal information held by Imperial Finance will be used and disclosed in accordance with this privacy policy. Subject to the provisions of the Commonwealth Privacy Act (1988) you can arrange to access your personal information held by Imperial Finance and its Appointed Agent by calling us on (08) 9228 1888. If you do not provide Imperial Finance and its Appointed Agent with the requested personal information, Imperial finance will not be able to supply you with the products and services requested by you on your behalf. You have the right at any time to request Imperial Finance and its Appointed Agent not to telephone you or provide you with any further information about products and services and not to disclose your information to any other organisations (including related corporations) for that purpose. Acknowledgement And Consent Your signature on our "Certificate of Appointment" indicates your full understanding of all contents of this Broker Services Guide, including your consent for Imperial Finance to use and disclose y/our personal information as indicated in this document. You understand that you can only revoke your consent by notifying Imperial Finance or its authorised representative in writing.
